Chapter 5
Ki Hoon looked at Hyo Sun and smiled. Hyo Sun stood up and decided to leave and go to her room. Eun Jo and Ki Hoon were left in the office. Eun Jo stared at Ki Hoon and signed to follow her. Eun Jo was left alone. She wanted to have at least idea on Hyo Sun but there’s none rather than the urgent meeting she’d been to. While Eun Jo is in the office she received a call from a call. It was about the successful meeting in China where Hyo Sun was been to.
Ki Hoon continued to follow Hyo Sun. Before the two reached the room of Hyo Sun, Hyo Sun stopped. When Hyo Sun stopped she asked to Ki Hoon. “Do you have a brother called Ki Tae, Hong Ki Tae?” Hyo Sun said. Ki Hoon replied “Yeah. Why? Is he bothering you?”Hyo Sun replied “It’s Just. It’s nothing. Stop following me.” Hyo Sun moved away but Ki Hoon remained in the same position and thought of what Hyo Sun asked. Ki Hoon really had a strong idea that Ki Tae is bothering Hyo Sun.
So the two couples remained curious to Hyo Sun’s actions. The day ended with a curiosity behind Hyo Sun’s actions. It made Eun Jo and Ki Hoon to be worried for Hyo Sun.
Early in the morning Eun Jo was out of her bed because she received a call for the coming wine convention. This is a gathering of all the wine owners to a sharing opportunity. Every wine company is invited in this event. So Eun Jo checked all the things to be done before the end of the month. Hyo Sun remained asleep. Jung Woo saw Eun Jo in the office working so early while he was just relaxing before his work. He felt worried for Eun Jo and asked a favor to ahjumma to prepare a breakfast for her. Ahjumma also saw Eun Jo and felt worried for her, for she was hard working. When breakfast was done preparing Jung Woo brought them in the office where Eun Jo is.
Eun Jo was flattered for Jung Woo’s effort. So Eun Jo ate the breakfast that Jung Woo brought. Eun Jo ate the breakfast that Jung Woo brought.
Ki Hoon woke up in the morning picking up his phone and sent a text message to Eun Jo saying “Good Morning! How’s your sleep?” That time Eun Jo was with Jung Woo and having breakfast. Eun Jo received the message and smiled. Jung Woo was curious who was the one who texted. Eun Jo said that it was Ki Hoon while she was typing her reply. Jung Woo smiled and reminded her about her breakfast. Ki Hoon didn’t expect a fast reply but he did receive one. It was Eun Jo who replied saying “It was short but its fine.” Ki Hoon then thought where she is now because with that kind of reply it seems that she’s awake for an hour already. Ki Hoon now had an idea that Eun Jo is in the Office so he woke up and dressed up. After ten minutes when Jung Woo and Eun Jo finished chatting, Jung Woo then gets all the food containers that Eun Jo used and left.
Eun Jo was then alone in the office now, she thought of the last call she received about the Wine Owners Convention. It is the first time that Korea ever held that said event so Eun Jo didn’t know if she has to say it to Ki Hoon and Hyo Sun. Then the problem about Hyo Sun’s treatment to Ki Hoon again flashed up in Eun Jo’s mind. Then suddenly while Eun Jo was in the middle of thinking deep Ki Hoon greeted her Good Morning. Eun Jo didn’t react immediately. Ki Hoon sat in front of her and asked about what was Eun Jo thinking. Eun Jo remarked “Hm.. Nothing. It’s nothing.” Ki Hoon showed a face of disappointment and replied “That’s the problem with you. You don’t open up easily may be because you can’t trust anyone before but this time. You can tell me everything. You can trust me.” Eun Jo looked at him and said “It’s Hyo Sun. I don’t have any idea what she is up to. After the urgent meeting with the Chinese dealer she acted like that. I’m pretty sure that the reason is not about the meeting I think there something happened when she returned here but I don’t know what.” Ki Hoon then replied “What was the first thing that Hyo Sun said when she came?” Eun Jo moved her head from left to right as if she is saying that nothing at all. Ki Hoon was in a thinking mode too like Eun Jo a while ago. Ki Hoon then said “I’ll do it.” Eun Jo was confused and said “What?” Ki Hoon replied “I’ll find it out I’ll make a solution for it.” Eun Jo then smiled as an approval.
Eun Jo contacted the organizer of the Wine Owners Convention for some information in the registration. The Organizer instructed Eun Jo to go the event area to register. So Eun Jo left the house without permission to anyone in the house. Eun Jo then arrived to the area of registration. While on the registration Ki Jeong saw Eun Jo, while waiting for her final invitation. Eun Jo was a bit bored and wanted to leave immediately but it is the last step of registration so she should then finish it. Ki Jeong wanted to talk to her so Ki Jeong sat beside Eun Jo. Eun Jo was a bit surprised but a little confused. Eun Jo just stared at him and Ki Jeong also did. That staring looks like an enemy stare at all. Eun Jo didn’t make any remarks until Ki Jeong did. Ki Jeong said “So you’ll be on the Convention. You’ll be with Ki Hoon and your little sister?” Eun Jo changes the direction of her eyes and pretended not to hear anything. Ki Jeong giggled and said “So I heard it right? You’re so called cold-hearted” Eun Jo stared at him and said “And So? What will you do?” Ki Jeong answered “If you’re asked politely you should answer politely, am I right?” Eun Jo laughed as if she was mocked. Eun Jo replied “So you wanted to be treated fairly? Why did you even treated us fairly? Who’s that person that attempted to bring us down? Why did we even attempt to bring you down? No! So stay away!” Then Eun Jo’s name was called for the final invitation. Eun Jo stood up but Ki Jeong held her arm but Eun Jo removed her arm from being trapped. Eun Jo then walk away then Ki Jeong narrated in his mind “Who’s the first person who competed to us? Isn’t your winery? If you didn’t disturbed our business you wouldn’t be touched by us too.”
On the way home, Eun Jo was driving when Ki Jeong called. Eun Jo greeted “Anneonghaseyo!” Ki Jeong smiled and replied “So you’ll just leave a co-entrepreneur like that?” Eun Jo replied “What do you want?” Ki Jeong said “I want to know you more meet me at the coffee place near my office” Eun Jo answered “So your putting me up in a set up. That would be fine. You won’t get any information in me at all. I’ll be careful”
It was around afternoon in Dae Sung Cham Do Ga, Hyo Sun was looking for Eun Jo in the office but she not there. She approached Jung Woo and asked “Did you see, Unni?” Jung Woo said “I don’t know? Why?” Hyo Sun replied “but you did see her today?” Jung Woo wondered and answered “Yes, this morning I saw her. But I thought she’ll work after so I left her there. Why? Is she lost?” Hyo Sun ran and tried asking Yang Hae Jin and the other workers but no one saw her. Jung Woo and Hyo Sun came together to check the car of Eun Jo but it was gone. Jung Woo suggested asking Ki Hoon about it. Hyo Sun was about to hesitate but she decided not to. Hyo Sun came with Jung Woo. Jung Woo asked Ki Hoon about it. Ki Hoon said “Maybe she is working on something, if she doesn’t arrive home at 6pm we should look for her then” Ki Hoon saw Hyo Sun beside Jung Woo. Ki Hoon remembered about Eun Jo’s remark about Hyo Sun. So Ki Hoon said “Jung Woo leave Hyo Sun and I for a while. I’m going to tell her something important.” Hyo Sun was about to hesitate but she doesn’t want to be awkward so she didn’t. Jung Woo left and Ki Hoon invited Hyo Sun to sit. Hyo Sun sat and talked to Ki Hoon. Ki Hoon asked what the problem was. Hyo Sun open up and said “Your brother Ki Tae I don’t know but do you ever plan a spy against us?” Ki Hoon smiled and said “what was that about? Honestly, there is no spy happening around. I won’t do that to all of you especially to Eun Jo.” Hyo Sun was embarrassed and replied “Is that true?” Ki Hoon answered “That’s the truth but I don’t know if they are using Ki Tae as a spy so don’t talk to him so much. I’d better approach him.” Hyo Sun smiled and said “Lets just wait until Unni comes later at night.”
