Chapter 3
This is then the day before Ki Hoon’s departure to America. Early in the morning Ki Hoon approached Jung Woo. He said “Jung Woo, can I ask you a favor? I know it isn’t right for Eun Jo seeing me pack my things for tomorrow’s flight. ” Jung Woo stared at Ki Hoon and replied “I told you no to hurt her! I told you to take care of her! What are you doing now? Huh?” Then he paused for a while and continued “Ok. I’ll do it! Just do things well for her.”
Jung Woo looked for Eun Jo. He saw her in the winery as if she is thinking so deep while her sight is stock staring on the floor. Jung Woo knew that she was thinking of Ki Hoon’s coming departure. So Jung Woo called “Noona!” and then grabbed her on her arm “come with me, lets have some fresh vibes and air.” Eun Jo didn’t make any reaction of hesitation because she knew it would be better. Then there they are in the waterside of the lake in the rocky part of it sitting. Jung Woo remarked “I know this time I can’t put on my self in your situation but since I don’t get it I guess it is so hard for you.” Then Eun Jo said “Stop! Don’t you start your own noise.” Jung Woo then replied “Noona, come with me for the day.” Then Eun Jo replied “Jung Woo, Stop fooling around!” Jung Woo said “Noona, When you rejected me I was definitely hurt but I couldn’t complain cause I love you. Please! Give me this chance. Please!” Eun Jo stared at Jung Woo and narrated in her mind “This guy He has really grown up. He is one of the people I don’t want to embarrass maybe because I know him well.” Then she finally replied “Ok.”
While Jung Woo and Eun Jo were out somewhere Ki Hoon packed his things with the help of Hyo Sun. While the two are busy packing Ki Hoon’s things, Hyo Sun asked Ki Hoon when he’ll be back. Ki Hoon replied “exactly the first day of the new month after 2 months.” Hyo Sun favored “Make sure to communicate with us in those times. Hm?!“ Ki Hoon smiled as a sign of approval.
It’s morning again; Dae Sung Cham Do Ga’s aura is one of the worst. It is the day when Ki Hoon’s Departure. Eun Jo didn’t even let her see Ki Hoon leaving. She just stayed in her room depressed. Ki Hoon knew it that she won’t appear.
It was then Ki Hoon leaved the place and rode the car with the Goo Family, Han Jung Woo and Hyo Sun’s Uncle. Few minutes after Ki Hoon left, Eun Jo said “He Left. Why? Is He coming back? When? Last time I wasn’t able to see him. Now?” Eun Jo ran to her car and drove going to the Airport.
In the airport, Ki Hoon and the family talked emotionally and then they finally said goodbye to each other. Ki Hoon rolled the wheels of his back going against the direction of the family. Eun Jo came in the Airport running to Ki Hoon’s direction. The whole family saw it and then leaved a little while. Eun Jo shouted “Ya! Wait!” Ki Hoon knew it was Eun Jo he looked back. Eun Jo and Ki Hoon are facing each other now. Ki Hoon said “I’m Leaving now.” Eun Jo then said “When?” Ki Hoon said “hm?!” Eun Jo replied “When are you coming back?” Ki Hoon replied “exactly the first day of the new month after 2 months.” Eun Jo lastly remarked “Promise me. You’ll come back.” Then two made the promise sign to each other. Before Ki Hoon leave he hugged Eun Jo. Then he left. Eun Jo then cried.
1 week passed since when Ki Hoon left. Eun Jo is waiting for Ki Hoon’s letter or text message. Eun Jo thought of writing a letter when she saw the refillable pen that Ki Hoon gave long time ago but she can’t do it.
On the other side, Ki Jeong’s men went to his office earlier than he expected. He asked why? The men answered “Your brother left a week ago and we noticed he’ll be back not as early as now so we decided to leave that place temporarily.” Ki Jeong asked again “Where is he going then?” The men answered “We think going to America. We heard he had an argument to a friend who helped Dae Sung Cham Do Ga’s financial needs before.” Ki Jeong didn’t mind then but he’s looking forward to Dae Sung Cham Do Ga’s next move.
Day after, Ki Hoon’s letter finally arrived at Dae Sung Cham Do Ga. Early in the morning it was delivered received by Eun Jo. Eun Jo was then flattered seeing the letter. Then she finally opens it and read it she then cried after. Eun Jo hurriedly gets a piece of paper and the refillable pen that Ki Hoon gave. She wrote everything she wanted to say to Ki Hoon. Before she finally end her letter she stop for a while thinking if she would reply “I Love you too”. Then she did it she wrote the sentence at the end of the body part of the letter.
That morning too, she also proceeded to the post office to send the letter. While Eun Jo is away Hyo Sun went to the office early. Hyo Sun then started working. She looked at the other table thinking where her sister might be. Then Hyo Sun decided to call her. The phone rings. Eun Jo then picks it up greeting “Anneonghaseyo”. Hyo Sun then replied “Oh, Unni! Where are you?” Eun Jo replied “I just went to arrange something. Why? Is there something urgent?” Hyo Sun replied “Arrange something? Early in the morning? Hm? No, I just want to know where you are. That’s all.” Eun Jo then said that she’ll hang up.
When Eun Jo arrived home, she saw Hyo Sun working. She proceeds then into the office. She told Hyo Sun her idea long time ago. She wanted to widen Dae Sung Cham Do Ga. Her idea is to export their wine not only in Japan but same to other countries such as China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Mongolia. Hyo Sun was shocked of what Eun Jo said. She remarked “You mean you want to export our wine to those countries? How?” Eun Jo then said “I saw in a Chinese magazine a contact details about trading goods. I even saw exporting and importing details. If we start in China and apply those procedures to other countries”. Hyo Sun became silent. Then she asked “How are we going to start?” Eun Jo replied “Here, Look at the magazine you’ll see there the contact details let begin with china. Then we will proceed to the other countries.” The Two Girls worked about the exportation for a month until they exported their wines to China.
One day when Jung Woo was playing around with little Joon Soo, he noticed Kang Sook outside talking to someone. He didn’t tried to look at who was it because Joon Soo might ask too. But he already had a doubt that it was Mr. Jang. He didn’t try to know what the conversation was about. After playing with Joon Soo, he asked permission to Eun Jo that he’ll do something important and didn’t give any details to Eun Jo where he is going to. Then the day ended with Eun Jo’s approval.
The Next Day, Jung Woo looked for Mr. Jang. It took Him the whole day looking for Mr. Jang but it ended as a failure. But he didn’t give up, he check-in a hotel and waited for the next day to come and look again for Mr. Jang.
But the day didn’t end with Jung Woo; in Dae Sung Cham Do Ga was a different day. The two ladies paid the loan they had with the elders which they loaned few months ago. They were then very happy and started to work again to foreign exportation. The day ended successful to the two ladies for they had contacted Mongolia and Philippines and it seems to be and approval.
The next day, Ki Hoon finally arrived to country. He proceeds first to his father. He hasn’t contacted at least once his father after the execution of the police. He have no idea how he’s father was doing. When he finally arrived at his father place he saw him lying down on his bed like a patient with dextrose located on his fathers hand. Ki Hoon was shocked.
